Michael Boeckh, MD, PhD, is Head of the Infectious Disease Sciences Program and the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle, and a Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington. He is an expert in the management of infections impacting patients whose immune systems are weakened by illness, chemotherapy or blood stem cell transplantation, with specific interest in herpes and respiratory viruses.
Dr. Boeckh received his MD and PhD from Freie Universität Berlin.
