John F. DiPersio, MD, PhD, is Professor of Medicine, Pathology & Immunology, Washington University School of Medicine, and Deputy Director of the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. His research focuses on fundamental and translational aspects of leukemia, lymphoma and stem cell biology, including the role of stem cell transplantation and novel targeted interventions to alter the natural history of acute myeloid leukemia and other hematological malignancies. Dr. DiPersio is a past president of the American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy.
Dr. DiPersio received his BA in Biology from Williams College, and MD and PhD in Microbiology from the University of Rochester.
